Linking an RFID card to your Hypercharge account

Learn how to link a Hypercharge RFID card to your account to start sessions without a phone.

If you ordered your RFID card through the Hypercharge app, it should already be linked to your account. Head to our article on "Starting a charging session with RFID" to confirm your card is linked and start your first charging session.

This article will guide you through the process of adding a Hypercharge RFID card that you already have in your possession to your account.

You will need the following to complete this process:

  • A Hypercharge RFID card

  • An existing Hypercharge account (learn how to create an account here)

To associate your Hypercharge card with your account simply:

  1. Open the Hypercharge app and log in to your account

  2. In the bottom right, select "Account"

  3. Scroll down and select "Member Card"

  4. At the bottom of the page, select "Enter a card"

  5. Enter the 8-character code found on the back of your Hypercharge card in the field labelled "Code". Note that the code entered is case-sensitive.

  6. Enter the name you would like to use to identify the RFID card in the app (useful if you have multiple cards - ie. "Primary Card" and "Back-up Card")

  7. Press "Confirm". You should see a pop-up notification indicating that the card was added.

If you receive an error that the card was not found, please try again ensuring that you have entered the number exactly as shown on the card. If the error persists, contact Hypercharge Support using the information below.
